đŹSomething Sweet and a bit Sour! đ
Marination time: 1h - Cooking time the longer the better but tops 1 hour- For 3
â€ïž This recipe has been made carnivore but can be made Vegan friendly too!
Use Jack fruit (or even vegan chicken) instead, marinate it the same way but add smoked paprika !
Treasure Hunt
Drizzle Olive oil
If your Veganizing use vegan chicken or 1 can of Jack fruit and smoked paprika
200 gr of veal or lamb If your gonna be a carnivore
Juice from one Lemon
20 prunes ( you can use half of this , I got lazy and left the seed , I would recommend warning people about this...just in case better safe then sorry...)
1 Onion
5 Cloves
3 cardamon seeds
1 coffee spoon Coriander spice
1 coffee spoon Cumin Spice
1 Cinnamon stick
Salt
1 soup spoon of Worcester sauce
1 soup spoon of Soy sauce
đ¶ïžDrizzle Sriracha sauce (I buy the one with the green lid) or any Chilli based sauce ( add more if you want it hot hot!)đ¶ïž
A bunch of Coriander ( 10 leaves with stems washed)
A pan with a lid
Puzzling
Marinate the veal with juice from one lemon, this will break down the amino acids in the meat rendering it tender.
If you are Veganizing this dish marinate your ingredients of choice with Smoked Paprika and Lemon Juice with the Worcester, Sriracha, and Soy sauce with Cumin and Coriander spices.
Soak the Prunes in a bowl filled with water and the Cinnamon stick ( make sure to keep the water for later on in the recipe)
When you are ready...
In a frying pan drizzle some olive oil with the veal or Veganicious ingredients and cook on high heat!
After 8 minutes add the sliced Onion,Salt,Cardamon, Clove, Cumin, Coriander spice, Worcester, Soy and Sriracha sauce and fresh bunch of Coriander!
For Vegans just add the Cloves, Cardamon Onion and fresh Coriander! As you have already used the other ingredients to marinate your Vegan meat replacement.
Cook for another 5 minutes on high heat and then bring down the heat to low and add the water that the prunes were soaking in with the cinnamon stick.
Leave it on low heat with a lid for 45 minutes
And voila ready to serve !!!
Goes well in an iceberg leaf, with rice, couscous grains or glass noodles!
